We provide free, supportive assistance for anyone involved in domestic and family violence court proceedings, and individuals impacted by sexual assault in Gladstone and Biloela.
We don’t provide legal advice, but are here to help you find your way through the court process.
Ways we can help include:
- explaining court processes and documents in plain language
- helping you prepare for court and understand what to expect
- being with you as a support person on the day
- supporting you to access duty lawyers and Legal Aid
- explaining Domestic Violence Orders (DVOs) and their conditions
- working with you on court-safety planning
- connecting you with other local supports.
